SocialCoreBot
Your own assistant, running on your own Windows PC. It listens to your voice notes and talks with you, and your audio and text stay on that PC.
What it is
SocialCoreBot is a small program you install on your Windows PC. It connects to your SocialCore account like a contact that only you can see. Two things work first:
- Audio Diary: send a voice note or talk on a call, and get a written transcript back.
- Chat with Bot: chat with a language model that runs on your PC.
Your privacy
The work happens on your PC. Your audio and text are not processed in the cloud. Messages between your phone and your bot are end-to-end encrypted, so only you and your bot can read them.
What you need
- A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC (64-bit).
- For calls with your bot, the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Most PCs have it; the installer tells you if yours does not. Text and voice notes do not need it.
- A SocialCore account and the SocialCore Android app.
How it works
- Log in here and download the installer from the Bot section. The download needs you to be signed in.
- Install it on your PC and connect it to your account. Connecting registers the PC as a workstation; you can connect more than one PC.
- Your workstations show up in the Bot section on the website and in the Android app, with their status.
- Audio Diary and Chat with Bot open in the Android app. The website only manages your workstations.
After you log in you land in the Bot section.
